Int ernal n asal splints are slightly curved tubes that start at the opening of the nostril and extend a short way into the nasal cavity. After a surgery requiring an internal nose splint, the surgeon implants one splint in each nostril, attaching them temporarily to the inside wall of the nostril with a stitch or two.

Take it out after 24-48h;. Inject 3ml of sterile normal saline into PVA hemostatic sponge before taking it out. Correction of nasal septum: after the operation, PVA hemostatic sponge was placed between the corresponding parts on both sides of the nasal septum and the lateral wall of the nasal cavity.

15 15cm, thickness 1.6mm thermoplastic nasal splint aquaplast splints used for ENT, nose surgery, plastic surgery aftercare. Put the nasal splint into 65 - 70 ?. hot water for 3-5 minutes. No more than 80 ?.

Internal splints may or may not be used during nasal surgery. They are more commonly used after a septoplasty, in which a deviated septum is corrected. Internal splints support the septum during the healing process.
